The connections we share with the people we love help shape who we are.

Hi, I'm Kris

I’m a mom, animal lover, and family photographer in Riverside, CA. Through a documentary approach, I focus on the genuine interactions and bonds that make each family their own.

What makes my documentary approach unique?

For me, documentary photography is more than just taking pictures. I notice the ways families connect with one another.

My approach is about blending in and allowing families to be themselves without posing, directing, or pressure to perform.

Unlike traditional photography, I focus on the relationships that already exist. They reveal how families connect and what they mean to one another.

I believe in preserving the genuine interactions and routines that reveal who your family is together.

Why I do it...

My passion for documentary photography comes from my own experiences as a mother. I know firsthand how quickly time slips away. More than anything, I value the relationships we share with the people we love. The closeness, affection, trust, and sense of belonging we build together are often the things that matter most.

When we can take honest photographs of our families, we can hold on to the truths we sometimes forget are there. These images become tangible markers that something existed, something real, something worth remembering. They can bring us back to the truth of who we are, where we belong, and the connections that have shaped our lives.

I’d Love to Hear From You!

If this feels like a good fit, reach out and we’ll start planning your session.

Photography is not just my profession; it’s also a way for me to serve others and give back to my community.

In addition to working with families, I volunteer my photography skills for my church, a local cat rescue, and the local animal shelter. Being able to support people, animals, and causes that matter is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
